Jade Antoine Bio: Watching the surfers at Surfrider's Beach and swimming at Point Dume State Beach are some of my favorite memories from my visits with my dad who lived in Santa Monica when I was growing up. As a child, and still today, I admired the free and easy, live-and-let-live atmosphere in Malibu. After witnessing the way the community rallied last year after the Woolsey fire, I equally admire the spirit of togetherness and courage of the Malibu community. I am proud to have my work displayed in a place where appreciating and respecting the natural world and its inhabitants is the norm, not the exception.
